Job Overview:
Camfed, an international non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty through girls’ education, is offering graduate internship opportunities for the year 2025. This internship program provides recent graduates with the chance to contribute to impactful projects aimed at empowering young women in rural communities across Africa.
Job Roles:
- Support various initiatives and projects aimed at promoting girls’ education and empowerment.
- Assist in research, data analysis, and program evaluation activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs and interventions.
- Support fundraising and donor relations efforts through research and communication.
- Collaborate with local teams and community stakeholders to drive positive change.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Development, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience or coursework in international development, education, or related areas is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice, gender equality, and youth empowerment.
- Experience working or volunteering in multicultural environments is a plus.
Skills Requirements:
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Passion for Camfed’s mission and values.
