Responsibilities (Varies by Directorate-General)
- Assist senior staff with research, analysis, and project tasks relevant to the specific department (e.g., competition policy, environmental protection, humanitarian aid).
- Participate in meetings and conferences, taking notes and contributing ideas.
- Draft reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Conduct research on EU policies, legislation, and current affairs.
- Liaise with stakeholders from different member states and institutions (may vary by program).
Qualifications
- Recently completed a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., political science, law, economics, international relations).
- Fluency in two official EU languages (one of which must be English, French, or German).
- Strong interest in European affairs and the EU’s role in the world (a plus).
Experience (Preferred)
- Previous internship experience in a public institution or international organization (a plus).
