Job Description
Foster + Partners is seeking passionate and talented students to join our Internship Program for the 2025 academic year. This program offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience working alongside world-renowned architects and designers on innovative and prestigious projects. You’ll contribute to the creative process, develop your skills, and be part of a team shaping the future of the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist on assigned projects across various design stages, from concept development to technical detailing.
- Conduct research and prepare presentations on relevant design topics and materials.
- Participate in design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings.
- Develop technical skills in drafting, 3D modeling, and design software (depending on the internship focus).
- Contribute to the overall positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student in architecture, engineering, product design, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a demonstrable passion for architecture, design, and innovation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Experience (Preferred)
- Previous internship experience in an architectural firm or design studio (a plus, but not mandatory).
- Portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino).
